Fall leaf crafts

With the hot and dry weather conditions this fall, the leaves started turning colors early this year. The children found leaves of some trees that turned yellow or orange, while the leaves of other trees turned bright red or purple. Here are a few simple art projects we did that the children loved.

Time to get ready for Hibernation!

This little squirrel needs a warm place to hibernate for the Winter and store his acorns!

This craft was a huge hit with my kids! They loved taking their squirrel in and out of the nest.

We glued acorns onto the squirrel's nest, and some kids wanted to tuck acorns in the nest. You can also use torn paper to make leaves for the nest!
