Thanksgiving Preschool Parade

One of America’s favorite traditions is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! 

We thought it would be fun to let the students design their own parade balloon and attach photos of the people they are grateful for. 

As we made the balloon we talked about gratitude.

We explained to be grateful is appreciating and wanting to thank the person or thing that did something good for you or made you feel happy. 

Afterwards we had our own parade and marched around the room pretending to be the floats, just like the Macy's Day Parade.

Today we decided to do an art project for Thanksgiving. The kids always love to have their hands and fingers covered in paint so we decided to make fingerprint turkeys! They were super easy to make and they had so much fun doing it. This was great gift to give to the parents for Thanksgiving Day!
