Press, Paint, Pull {Toddler Art}

This artwork gives the artist a fine-motor workout!
 Press pieces of drywall tape onto a sheet of fingerprint or cardstock paper. Repeat the process until a desired effect is achieved.
Then paint the entire surface of the paper with a variety of watercolors.
When the paint is dry, remove the tape from the paper to reveal the hidden design. Simply lovely!

Marvin the Martian

SONGS
We're Flying To The Moon
tune: Farmer in the Dell

We're flying to the moon.
We're going to blast off soon.
Grab your helmets and your suits.
We're flying to the moon.

We're flying oh so fast.
Then we're home at last.
What a flight, what a sight.
Flying to the moon!

Sun catcher {Toddler Art}

Catch some rays with these super cute sun catchers!

Materials needed:
Sun shaped template.
Permanent marker.
Wax paper.
Glue.
Yellow and Orange tissue paper squares.
Paint brushes.
Thread.
Hole punch.

Directions:
Tract the template onto a sheet of was paper. Paint slightly water-down glue over the sun shaper and then cover the entire area with yellow and orange tissue paper.  Press another sheet of waxed paper atop the glue-covered tissue paper.  When the glue is completely dry, cut a sun shape by cutting along the marker outline.  Give the sun catcher personality by adding marker facial features.  Punch a hole near the top of the sun catcher with thread and then suspend it near a window.

Let the sun shine!
