I like your blogs! I also work with little children, I'm a playgroupleader. How many years old are the children? I also have a blog about my work (spielgruppeschweiz.blogspot.com).
Thank you for your comment on my blog :-) I don't live in Germany. I live in Switzerland. Do you know it? It's a small country between Germany and Italy.
Sorry, my english is not very good, but I can still learn...
Liebe Regula, My German is not so good but I can try. Do you speak the same german as in Germany? I know where Switzerland is. Some of my ancestors came from Switzerland. Their last name is Ritschard.
I like your blog too. Perhaps we can get new ideas from each other. =) The children I have are ages 1 year old to 3 year old. I watch them in my home but like to do "preschool" crafts, songs and games with them. Thank you for writing back. ~Tami
Oh, you have swiss roots! That's nice. There are still Ritschards in Switzerland.
I speak Swiss German. It's not the same as in Germany. It's a dialect. It's not an official language. Written language is the same German as in Germany and the children have to speak the "right" German in school. The German's don't understand much of our dialect.
What means "preschool" crafts? Your snowmans are nice. Next week, when the holidays are gone, my playgroup will also start again.
Hello Regula, Preschool is school for children younger than five years old. Once a child turns 5 they begin Kindergarten in the public school system. Before that you can sign your child up in a "pre-school", but you must pay for it. Most children are ages 3 or 4 in a Preschool setting. Does that answer your question? LG Tami
